       Welcome to Hartlepool Watersports Association.

We are a group of powerboat, water ski and Jet ski enthusiasts based in Hartlepool Marina

in the North East of England. We are power boat or jetski owners with a wide variety of craft.  The Club is an affiliated British Waterski Club. We have a wide variety of activities including water skiing, jetskiing, power and motor boating, fun days, coastal trips, social evenings. Our aim is to promote powered water sports in the area whilst being inclusive and open to all who want to join in the fun. 

The club formed in 2017 from a small group of 

Ex members of Tees & Hartlepool Yacht Club

when the club would no longer support waterskiing. Most members trace their history back to HYC at Middleton when skiing enjoyed a more prominent role in club activities. In 1997 HYC amalgamated with Tees sailing club to be a diverse water sports club capable of hosting 1000 members. This was with the vision of promoting the key sports of the two clubs sail, waterski and power boating.
