The annual trip to Northumberland took place over the weekend of 19th / 20th August.The weather over the weekend turned out to be much better this year after the strong onshore winds last year. Even the water conditions were good. Saturday had a brisk South westerly breeze which did create some chop. By Sunday the wind had dropped and the water was much calmer. The beaches were quite busy with lots of activity. There were plenty of paddle boarders, swimmers, kayaks, sail boats, jet skis and ski boats all enjoying the great weather. It also happened to be the bay lifeboat day and the harbour was visited by the Seahouses lifeboats.
